Open Fridays, Carablanca is London's longest-running tango club.
The friendly, informal atmosphere ensures that beginners and visitors
mix easily with the regular dancers.

The dance evening is an Argentine milonga. Music is traditional Argentine tango,
milonga and vals, played in tandas with cortinas by guest DJs.
Classes take place in a separate room from the milonga. They are taught at two levels.
The Beginners tango course,
which starts on the first Friday of the month, is for those with no knowledge of tango.
The Recent Beginners course
assumes the knowledge of the Beginners tango course.

Tango and cocktails both originally became fashionable in Europe in the early twentieth century
and they are particularly suited to each other. The subtlety and intensity of a well-prepared cocktail
makes it the ideal accompaniment to the mood of tango. Our 1920s period venue, Conway Hall,
provides exactly the right setting for recreating some of the elegance of an earlier cocktail age.
